Default Is there a solution to the bouncing midi folder yet?

Sorry to ask, but although I found many threads regarding the problem, I couldn't find anything regarding a definitive solution. I didn't even notice that I had this issue until today as I keep my taskbar hidden.

So is there a fix that doesn't create other problems? In case it is not in my sig., I am running the dreaded 8.03cs1 on OSX 10.5.8.

Thanks in advance!

No, there is no definitive solution IF you are on a 002/003 and want to use the MIDI ports on those units.

If you aren't using a 002/003 or have a different interface (Mbox 2, etc) you can remove the DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin from the MIDI Drivers folder at MacHD>Library>Audio.

Double checking: Is this driver for users of the DIGIDESIGN MIDI I/O interface?

As stated by Digdesign, it is a driver for the Digi002/003 family of Protools LE interfaces only. (Not the DIGIDESIGN MIDI I/O that is normally part of the Protools HD family of interfaces)
