Closed one sesison with two plug-ins
TC reverb and Digi Compressor.
Opened another (un-related) session
and I got a new menu at the top between Windows and Help ????
even had one scroll down choice ,but did'nt do anything.

looked like this....

Windows 1146695968 Help
factory default

Had just trashed all prefs ,zap pram
and rebulit desktop proir to this

A bug maybe?

Do you have any older versions of Pro Tools or betas on your machine? Does this only happen when you launch the session or just Pro Tools from the Digi Folder as well?

Does this happen only when third party plug-ins are used in a session? Try removing all third party plugs from the Plug-ins folder, trash the DAE prefs, empty the Trash, relaunch Pro Tools and see if you can make the mystery menu reappear.
