Default USB2 Audio HD vs Fw Audio HD vs internal audio HD

Hi

I would like to know if you've noticed differences of performances between a pc that as :
1/ an internal audio HD
2/ an external USB2 Audio HD
3/an external FireWire Audio HD

Additional question : Is it better to put the external audio HD in USB2 or to daisy chain the audio HD with the digi002R ?

Tks
