Latin Pop: What should I Know?
Here in NYC I run a small project studio. I'm an Engineer/Keyboardist and and advertise myself as "YOU DON'T NEED A BAND"!
I've tackled all types of genres successfully over the years but till now haven't had a Latin Pop project come my way. What should I be aware of as I start this journey with a somewhat "known" female artist from Miami? Any must listen to's or web info that might help? I take pride in the creation of extremely realistc musical tracks (sounds like a band, not a sequencer), and have also completed some 'smokin' House/R&B projects, though pop and rock are the main focus of most of my clients. Thanks for any help/pointers, Dean |

Re: Latin Pop: What should I Know?
The "r's" should be rolled and rappers can go really fast in Spanish. Other than that you should be good to go. The Latin projects I have worked on were with some pretty funky cats. Just have some fun and don't hold back.
