Plugin Induced Latency (LE Systems)
So I'm talking to a friend of mine who is a ProTools TDM user. He explains to me about plugin induced latency and how to go about removing it. I quickly head to my user manual when i get home to read more on it and i find this quote:
"You can compensate for TDM plug-in-induced delays by using the TimeAdjuster plug-in. This plug-in lets you apply a specific number of samples of delay to the signal path of a Pro Tools track." So, is there some similar to this in PT LE? Is it a factor? Or do I simply need to use the brute force method of inverting the track phase and nudging it till it "nulls" out? So much to learn... |

Re: Plugin Induced Latency (LE Systems)
The easiest way is to check howmuch latency you have on the track (ctrl-click on the green "window" on the fader that usually shows the level), and nudging the whole track to the left. The TimeAdjuster plugin is a TDM-only thing.
Flipping phase doesnt really do you any good...
