Default Well read??

I'm trying to develop my skills in audio, but I don't have time for a course. Can anyone suggest a good book on sound engineering in general, but with a slant to computer recording (as opposed to live sound or tape)?? I'd like info on "conventional" equipment like mixers, effects and patching.

Default Re: Well read??

Craig Anderton has written several books I believe on this topic (or one book several times...). Most of the industry mags aimed at the project studio owner now are offering all kinds of books, and cd courses too (EQ, Recording, etc..). I haven't tried them but I'm sure they will point you in the right direction.
