I've used Timbuktu to work ProTools, over the internet before. But just as an experiment. I was supprised how well the screen redraws were, etc. The thing is, there was no way to really hear what I was doing, in real time. Even if the phone was held up to the speaker, you had latency problems (impossible to edit to) and of course the sound quality was horrible (impossible to mix to)

Not sure exactly what your trying to do though.

in the time that's been spent pondering this possibility, that pro tools session could have be burned onto a CD and arrived anywhere in the world, for less money than Timbuktu or Remote desktop costs.

Why make your life any harder than it has to be?

Is this VNC for MAC?

Thanks
No it's for Mac....just kidding....MAC is an acronym for Media Access Controller...otherwise known as MAC Address. Mac as in intosh is not an acronym.
It is also for Linux and Win....and any client can control any VNC server so it is not platform dependent. PC can control Mac, Linux Win, Mac Linuz and all the vice versas you can think of..

I would hope that no one would post software links for PC software in a Mac forum....
VNC is free so save yourself some money...

Also....FTP is built-in to OS X....use that to transfer files if you have broadband access....no point in using up that bandwidth to look at screenscrapes...
