Help with I/O on 001
I am running PT 6.1 on windows XP (AMD 1400, 512 megs of ram 2x80 gig drives)... I am working on a demo product and am using an ADAT for 8 inputs and the 001 for 8. In the i/o set up it shows all 16 channels, but when I try to assign them to a track I only get 1-9 to appear, the others say inactive. At first I thought it was the ADAT, but I reassigned the ADAT channels to 1-8. They started working right away, but now I can only use channel 1 on the 001. Any ideas? I've used all 16 before with no problems.
Thanks so much for any help. Mat

Re: Help with I/O on 001
This may or may not do anything, but I had a similar problem a while ago once I hooked up an external reverb unit to the S/PDIF connectors on my 001. Go to Setups -> I/O Setup -> Input and click the Default button on the lower right-hand corner. You may have to do the same on the Output tab, as well. It worked for me....
Hope that was usefull, Paul

Re: Help with I/O on 001
Paul,
Thanks for the help. I will try anything at this point. I think I'll try to open one of my old ADAT sessions to see if those still work. For the life of me, I don't know why they just disappeared. They've been there all along and then *poof* they're gone !!! Any other ideas??? Thanks again, Mat
