OH, It's been years since I've used the DUC. Not since 5.1.
Can't remember if this 'bumps' my issue to the top? Sitting around in my studio with my clients waiting, hoping that some one knows of an upgrade, reset, extension, key stroke, download, secret code, hocus pokus that will make my $500 soundreplacer upgrade work. Boo hoo on me :-( |

Well, I would like to help you, but I don't understand, what you mean by the word "static" in this case.
What happens if you try to use SR? Did you:

Re: soundreplacer not working = just static :-((
Thanks but no.
I'm a LONG time PT user and own a mix+ and a HTDM rig. I"ve been soundreplacing for years. I have a mbox2 pro at my home studio and just upgraded to Music Production Tookit which contains soundreplacer. When I soundreplace (with a sample loaded in etc, target track etc..) it iether does nothing or replaces with loud static instead of my kick drum trigger. ???? Thanks for your help!!! |

OOW. Found this finaly in the answer base. (see below)
But still no worky. Now I can't get the plug in to do anything. http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...0&itemid=24707 Selecting an SDII file to use as a replacement sample within the plug-in SoundReplacer (v7.3) yields white noise after processing. This is a known issue in Pro Tools 7.3. Workaround: Use WAV or AIFF samples. |

Crap.
I think it's working now. I didn't check 'use in playlist'. Everyone calm down. How embarrassing. But don't use SD2 files! |

Re: soundreplacer not working = just static :-((
That's funny! I was thinking of writing only the "use in playlist" advice, as this is a very common mistake, but then I ended up writing the whole procedure for some reason.
