sound manager / sound input / 001

Hey there.

I am running a DIGI 001 on a power computing powercenter 132 upgraded to a g3 266 [ OS 8.6 ]. Everything with protools runs great? but I cannot use the 001 as an imput to other programs, like Peak etc. I used to have a Audiomedia 3 card and this was no problem. It looked like the drivers that came with the 001 would allow for this... I can see it as an output source, but not input.... .Please, please help

just like the D24 and the Project II cards....Digi doesn't like you use them with other applications....When i bought the Project II (which not work with SDII) they told me to use Peak or many other applications that use Sound Manager. Too bad I couldn't use an input to record in Peak, analog nor digital!! Maybe I should have throw away all my masters on DAT?
