Default Method to import track names?

Hi all, thought I'd tap the collective hive mind and see what pops up! I need to streamline - if possible - naming tracks. I have 1000 tracks to name, that correspond to names from an Excel SS. Is there a way to essentially import the Excel data such that each name gets its own track, rather than input each name manually? Note: I am not naming clips within a single track. I'm thinking perhaps some Post folks may have a solution, if there is one.

Thanks in advance for you help!

If the names in your spreadsheet are sequential in order but carry the same base name you could use Batch Track Renaming. This allows some customization of the track names in.

If each track has a different name all together this might prove more difficult. EdiLoad or EdiMarker might have this capability but I’ve never used it for track naming, only for markers from Excel.

If there was a way to generate an AAF from your SS, Pro Tools could import the session data from the AAF and generate new tracks from the session import retaining the track names.

Thanks its2loud! Ugh. Kind of thought there'd be this issue. The names are not sequential; each name is unique. I'll look more into the creating an AAF. I have EdiMarker, but so far have not been able to make this particular workflow happen with it so far.
