Default C24 wont work. No ethernet drivers.

I'm trying to use the C24 with my XP PTle system and having some problems.

When I try to click the "enable" ethernet controllers button in the peripherals menu I get an error saying I have no ethernet drivers and that I should put the drivers in the controllers folder and install the ethernet drivers.

This I have done. Still no different.
I have the correct c24 drivers in the correct folder and have "digidesign ethernet" in the network protocols list.

Help digi. the one guy on the DUC who has seen this has given me all his tips and still I get nothing.

My local dealer has no idea and I have exhausted the DUC. I have wasted too many hours on this.
