Default C24 Fader chatter on Auto Touch...

Hi,
When on touch automation, if I try to re-write an existing automation by just holding the fader in a position during a pass, the fader is pushing at my fingers. On finishing the pass, the volume automation for that track shows a lot of breakpoints which I have to manually smooth out. Any suggestions? The Touch Out time is set to 1000ms in the preferences. I know that latch/write may be a better option but I prefer to be in touch mode always

The touch sensing circuit may not be working right, also if you have extremely dry skin try hand lotion, old Necam system was that way for me sometimes. Sometimes my finger nail keeps me from touching C24 fader with skin.
