Default Pro Tools HD2 pci-x on Mac OS

Hello!
I want to use my Pro Tools HD2 pci-x on modern computer. Apple G5 is out of date and some applications that I need don't work under it.
I want to make hackintosh beset on:

Supermicro X8DTN+
Xeon E5620 x 2
DDR3 2Gb x 6
ATI Radeon HD 5770
etc

Has anybody had such experience? What do you think about this configuration? Can I expect it would work stubile?

You may try this post under windows forum.

hackintosh or PC running OS 10.6 with PCIx (Usually 2) and PCIe slots.
I read somewhere there's not enough room.
Also if it works the'll be no support.
I went the Magma route x5 and all is working fine.
Try an older or refurb intel mac to lessen the cost.
Or go the HD native trade in for your core card.

I have HD2 PCI-x running on a hackintosh. works very stable, but you need to know what you're doing...
don't try it on an existing machine... you have to build a new one from scratch. I used a Gigabyte board and Kakewalk.

The problems you people are running into is that Avid doesn't support hackintoshes running PT; you're on your own doing that. Besides, why would Avid support doing something that is illegal to begin with (running a Mac OS on anything other than a genuine Apple computer)?
