Amplitube 1.3 Question (Pedals and FX)

For the majority of the time, I am not able to turn on any of the stomp boxes or post-amp FX in Amplitube 1.3. It's very frustrating. I recorded a track with the delay and reverb on (post-amp FX). After closing the session and re-opening it, I am unable to re-activate either effect. (I click them and nothing happens.) Has anyone else experienced this issue or something similar? Thanks.

I've noticed that this occurs when I add Reason to a session. Why?!?! My system is not being taxed at all. (I tested with only one guitar track and only one instance of Reason. No other tracks in session.) Why would the FX and stomp box parameters suddenly be inactive when Reason is inserted into a session?
