PT 7 crashes on opening after system reinstall

Hi all

I have just reinstalled my system (OSX 10.4.9), due to the computer not starting. I archived during the install.

The system is;
G5 dual 1.8 Ghz PPC, with 3 GB of RAM. I am running PT 7.4.2

Am not sure why but when I click on the PT icon on the dock it just doesn't open. I have tried clearing all the prefs, etc... using applejack but still nothing.

I have also searched for an answer but have had no joy.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Any time you do an OS reinstall you will need to reinstall Pro Tools, as the OS reinstall wipes out system level drivers that Pro Tools installs and which it needs to work properly.
