ableton live is it live or not!!!!

Hello, to everyone out there in digidesign land. I want to know what do y'all think about it(Ableton Live). Is it a great production tool for creating music or is just another cost freebie made available to us to get us to buy pro tools!?!?

It's great - try the demo and draw your own conclusion.
I've had the full version for a while so I never bothered installing the stripped-down version which was included with my 002R, as I've heard it doesn't really do justice to all the things this program can do. I find it indispensable for jingle work and even as a main sequencer/recorder for my own projects. I absolutely love Live.
