Thank you Waves and thanx Allen for the info. I'll end this project tomorrow night and after that I will install the new software pronto!!! I've missed the PAZ so it will be welcome. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

I downloaded it, and installed it.

With a lot of expectations i fired up ptle, and recalled a session. WADDAF***.... ptle is complaining about unauthorized plugins....????

So i did a complete uninstall of waves, with the risk of having to beg them for a new authorization....and installed again....still the same....

then i tried to trash the DAEprefs and iosettings....and that did the trick. to my surprise i even have some morwe plugins now.....but i dont mind....its 3.5 alright!!!! And it is indeed a lesser strain on the cpu!!!!!

Wow cool! how did you trash yer dae prefs & io settings? I need to do this myself.

goto c:\program files\digidesign\Dae

there you'll see some folders

trash the folders named "DAE prefs" and "IO Settings".

BTW....i was able to run 5!!! trueverbs on my PIII 600 Mhz

are you able to double or even triple the amount of waves plug-ins that you can use in a session like they are claiming?

I think so.....but i didnt really try it. I have some sessions i had to throw out plugs because my system couldnt deal with it.....i have to go back to them and give it another shot. I did notice that trueverb uses about the same as d-verb now....

I installed it, trashed DAE-settings and IO-settings and it just doesn't work. When PTLE starts it comes up while scanning memory, but nothing shows up in the menues RTAS or Audiosuite - What to do? [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]

Make sure you completely uninstall previous versions first before installing 3.5. YOu may have some things in the registry that need to be removed also.
