M-Audio MobilePre, where do I go?
I've got an issue with Avid's latest driver for the M-Audio MobilePre (2nd gen) audio interface. M-Audio says go to Avid, Avid's forum has redirect back to M-Audio...

Re: M-Audio MobilePre, where do I go?
Thanks, Transputer. I already have the drivers- my issue is specifically with, well, both of those drivers.
In version 1.0.4, the audio was noisy/overloaded in my DAW, but very fast and accurate with my Native Instruments / Alesis e-drums. In version 1.1.7, the audio was perfect in my DAW, but had a terrible ~50ms delay when playing my drums. I was able to tweak the samples, depending on what I was doing, with version 1.0.4, but it was a nuisance. Brand new 3rd gen i7 notebook with 8 GB of RAM, and I'm getting noise / gigantic lag? super frustrating. But, this is all moot at this point because my MobilePre just up and died on me I loved that little guy. Oh well, guess I'd better buy an Apogee Duet |
