Music Production Enhancement Suite

I was browsing through the Digidesign website and I came across the list of supposedly bundled plug-ins for the 002. I was really surprised to see that there is something called the Music Production Enhancement Suite, and that it is included with the 002.

Why was I surprised? Because I own an 002 and there was no such thing included. I looked a little more and it says it was included in 002's purchased after August 2003, but I purchased mine sometime around December of 2003.

So what gives, Digidesign? Why didn't I get what I had coming to me? Is there some way I can download the Suite?

The dealer should have given that to you when you purchased your 002.

There is no download, it includes 3 CDs. You would need to contact Digidesign Customer Service Administration and fax them a copy of your sales receipt, plus your registration information if you have not already registered.

Man, Digi puts to much faith in these dealers... I can't even get upgraded to 6.7 because my local guitar center said they don't have a form or anything for me to fill out that I can send to Digi, they've asked for updated CDs but until someone from their store goest to San Fran for training Digi won't give them any upgrade CDs... Strange if you ask me???

I have contacted my local dealer ( very little help ever ) and they did not know anything about this....go figure. I just want to make sure I am not missing something here.

You should have checked the box because a lot of dealers sell open box items for full price and the software isn't there. When I got my Digi002R, they tried to give me an open box, they said they opened it to see what was inside. I think it was a return and they tried to sell it for full price. I had them special order the Factory Bundle for me and it was in about 5 days later and I went to pick it up. I won't get anything else from Sam Ash though, I'm done with them. Sam Ash does crap like that. Be careful, it's your money.
