Control of DigiDesign PRE
Hi,
I have a Pro Tools 9 HD system using two DigiDesign 192 I/O and three DigiDesign PRE. I control Pro Tools using two MC Mix and one MC Control. The PRE's har controlled through Pro Tools. Is it possible to use my Euphonix surfaces to control the parameters of each channel on the PRE's? Kind regards, Mikael

Hi Mikael,
Once you have the Pre's connected via a Midi i/f ,and since PT9 adds Direct Eucon operability,i believe that the levels and functions of the Pre's should be controlled as they should-probably you have to select them via Insert Mode?

The PRE's don't show up as inserts in Pro Tools but as a seperate "Window View" above the inserts in the Mix window.
I can't find them in the MC Mix by selecting Inserts and entering assign mode. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? Mikael
