Default Core Audio and Apple DVD Player

Is there any way to get the Apple DVD Player to play out ANY of my interfaces? MBox or 192, I don't care. Is there a "wonder widgit" that makes this possible?

Dont know what computer & or software your using
should be the same from both OSX & OS9Go to the sound control pannel got to output tab
you shoud see "use digidesign under OS9 or under OSX the digidesign device is named 002 for example
If you have OSX install the digidesign core audio driver it will do it automatically for you.

You might need to run the Core Audio app and add DVD Player to the list of supported apps

Yes, the Digi core audio app in the Digidesign folder will definitely accomodate the DVD player. Click on the add addition apps button at the bottom of the window. While you are at it, you can add FCP and DVDSP, etc, and have everything you want feed into your fine studio monitors.

Where do you find the "add apps" button?" In the Digi CoreAudio Manager? There's nothing of the sort in mine. Would like to add Final Cut Pro. Thanks.

If this is the last version of core audio, there is not the opportunity to "add" apps.

This is a poisonned gift from digi.

It will launch automatically in the background when an app needs it!

Nice but what happens when there is no other app running and the DVD doesn't output at the digi's interfaces?

Well, you're stucked with it!

Welcome to the new multi-client Core audio!
