computer completely frozen

hello, i know this is probably a question for apple, but i was curious if anybody here has experienced this. all of a sudden when i start up my computer it completely freezes up! it will start up just fine and then stay running for about a minute or so, and then, blam... its frozen.

i was fooling around with a pro tools session when it first happened. i wasnt doing anything crazy. i had about 2 tracks going, 1 i imported a track, and the second i was just messing with the pitch shifter.

any suggestions would be very helpful. thanks!

Try starting from your CD that was included with the computer and then re-load the OS. Hold down "C" when you want to restart from a CD.
