Share iLok on Network
I have done a Google search and could not find this discussed in a while or any conclusive answer. I am looking to share and iLok between 2 computers in the building. Now mind you I am NOT looking to do so at the same time! But still did not want to be hassled with the unplugging and plugging in of the iLok. Both my DAWs are Mac Pro's running 10.6.8. Is there anyone out there doing something simular with something comparable to my computer spec's?

This has been discussed at the DUC (apologies dont remember when..) and i believe that This
was mentioned back then,not sure if it is compatible with the iLok's.I guess that using a KVM Switcher/Extender (Over Cat5) will(?) probably work. Like: http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=1822 http://www.smartavi.com/categories/d...s/dvx-plus.htm
