Default Bouncing problem... please help!

I'm running 6.9le, with PentiumD, 3.0Ghz, 2gig ram, Digi002, Presonus Digimax 8 ch LT, - I've just started recording at 48, rather than 44.1, my problem is, obviously,
I have my settings set, external Clock, ADAT. But when I try to bounce the song down, its slow. During bounce, it is playing regular speed, but at 48, and when I bounce, i've tried settings of 44.1, 48... the wav output is slow. and i've tried turning the internal clock on to 44.1, letting it play slower, and trying to bounce at 48... But its still slow... Please tell me I'm doing something wrong...
Help! Thank a bunch
matt

Go to Rail's site: http://www.railjonrogut.com/

Download the Header Investigator tool, and follow the directions, you should be able to get it back.

It sounds like you have an external clock set at a different speed than specified in your session settings. PT "thinks" you are at one speed when you're actually at another set by the external clock.

I've never tried really this, but it may work: create a new session at 44.1 and import the tracks through the "Session Data" dialog in to your new session. If that doesn't work, try it the other way ie: create a new session at 48k and import. I'm not sure what to put as your "source rate" in the SRC option, you may have to experiment a bit. If they are 44.1k tracks recorded in a 48k session, you may want to tell PT that they are 48k. I dunno, it gets pretty confusing, so trial and error may be in order here.

I've done a similar mistake of setting my Apogee clock at 44.1k and accidently recording something in a 48k session. That's a real mess since only one track is messed up. The background tracks are slow during bounce and playback, but after I bounced they were at the right speed and the new track was fast.

Good luck

Yeah its strange- Listed, when changing to the External Clock ADAT, it still reads below that the sample rate of 44.1, on the ADAT, and the OO2, they both are set at 48...
And when I go to bounce, you get a list of what to bounce at, but no matter what i select, it doesn't change. Its always slow. Like you said, PT might see the session at 44.1, however its recorded at 48.
I'll have to try reopening a new session and importing the tracks like you said...
even when i've tried a new session, before creating tracks, i would go into the hardware setup, select to external ADAT, and it will allow you to select the sample rate, and i'd set it at 48k, and then add a few tracks. Then while those tracks were open, I would check to see if it still said 48, like I selected, but it moved itself back to 44.1, and won't allow me to change it..???
Odd. I may need to Upgrade to 7.0... to clear myself of further problems in the future.

Any more suggestions would be awesome, thanks a bunch-
matt

When you create the new session, are you creating it at 48k?
