Default Import PT 6 file into

I have a client with a PT 6 session who wants to revisit his project. I have tried opening the file in PT 2019.5... instant crash. I created a new session and attempted to import session data... instant crash. I tried this method with earlier versions of PT I had saved... as far as PT 12.6... instant crash.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you much!

2 possible issues I can think of:
1-bad plugin
Solution-hold the SHIFT key while opening the session(which makes all plugins inactive).

2-audio files are in SD II format.
Solution would be to open on PT10 or older(maybe PT11 but I'm not sure) and then Save Session Copy and convert to wave.

Someone more Mac-savvy may have another idea I kept an old G4 and Mbox in the closet for this very issue, but its long gone now.

I built an old TDM rig just for this type of stuff. DM me if you don't have any other luck.

Best,

Thanks Dave... I held the SHIFT key down and voila... PT6 file opened up in 2019.5... all Waves plugins intact and working... the only thing messed up was the memory locations... thanks for the tip!
