Default deleting extra bars at the end of the session

I have a few thousand extra bars at the end of my session, and can't figure out how to get rid of them. I think it's messing up the midi track export. I've done it before, but can't figure it out.

Go to right after the end of the actual tracks, select all tracks, and hit Shift+Option+Return. Delete. Doesn't that work?

No, that's not doing it for me. But the midi export thing is solved; it was giving me a message about the sys ex, and since I don't need sys-ex anything for a piano piece to be imported into Finale, I deleted the sys-ex info, & I'm back in business - but still wondering what I have to do to get rid of the extra bars.

Ok, how about if you type in 999999999 as the end selection instead of the key command?
