Default Old, old bugs

Ever since 5.1 (first version I used) I've been bitten by a couple of 'features' that I assumed would have been eradicated by 7 but haven't.

One is where you click off somewhere in the timeline and go straight into scrub (right click or ctrl-click) and the whole timeline judders violently backwards/forwards (a quick play/stop cures it). The other is where I have extreme difficulty making it scrub just one (mono) track and it insists on scrubbing the track above or below in addition to the one I want . Several left clicks here and thers in the track eventually sorts it out. Are little - but hugely annoying during a busy editing session - things like this ever going to be sorted? Colleagues of mine get these too so it's not just me or is there a magic preference that cures this?

Thanks,
Pete Gates

I don´t have a solution but here´s another traditional bugger:

- after processing a stereo-clip with an AS-plug you dobbleclick with the multi-tool to rename the file. you punch in a name and hit enter. PT will say "file name already exists" and will only rename the left channel. you then have to select the grabber-only-tool and rename thje file a second time. then PT will finally also rename the right channel. This bug is still here in PT 6.9.3

Actually the other one that really annoys me just happened, couldn't remember it at the time. When you shift/scrub to make a selection and release the mouse the selection start/end remains valid but can often jump to a completely different track to the one you're scrubbing. I then have to 'move edit sel up' or down to put it back on the right track.

Cheers,
Pete
