Default Eleven rack + qsc K10 & Blackstar HT-40

Would the eleven rack with a QSC K-10 sound at least as good as a blackstar ht-40?
I need to decide either to buy a powered frfr speaker and try the eleven rack or go with a blackstar ht-40 combo and add a another 1x12 to it...

Thanks

I have an 11R with a K10. I love it. It doesn't sound like "an amp in the room", to me it sounds like "a good amp miced up coming through a solid set of speakers". That's a sound I have grown accustomed to over the years due to the volume I play at, and is infinitely more flexible than a guitar amp IMHO, in terms of sound, portability and consistency. However, if you are gunning for the pure "live amp" sound, stick with a guitar amp.

thanks for the info!
I'll buy the blackstar ht-40 with the artisan 2x12 cab!
And will keep on using the 11r at home!

I've got an 11R with a K10. The other guitarist in my band has a HT-40 I think (with a giant pedal board).

I've played with the guy off and on for over 10 years. He seems to be happy with his sound and I seem to be happy with mine.

What are you looking to know?

I have never used anything like the eleven rack live or at rehearsal so I would like to know from people that went from tube to the 11r if they're happy with their sound....

It takes a little bit of getting used to, the lack of air blowing at your knees, but I really enjoy the sound of the 11R through the monitors on poles.
