MTRX Big Sur compatibility

I was disappointed to get Pro Tools Big Sur compatibility only to learn that both MTRX units are not yet supported.

I know no one will answer this, but since DAD has not exactly been timely with MTRX software updates, I'm guessing MTRX Big Sur compatibility is not imminent, and probably lagging 4 or 5 months behind. Seems to me they had loads of time to take care of this by now.

What features that are in Big Sur that you need?

I'm in the same boat- running an MTRX that is the heart of my studio.
I can't see anything about Big Sur that is a must have.

Im on Big Sur now with 2019 MacPro, and MTRX profile file running on my old macbookpro, so my Mom turns on.
If i need to modify my micpre, ill turn to my laptop now instead adjusting it in PT.
Runs fine.

I haven't heard of any show-stopping issues on 11.2.3 with either 5.4.4.2 or 5.4.5.1.

Thanks Jeff - I don't see 5.4.5.1 in the download center on MyAvid.

It's not. It has been mentioned on the forums as NTP released it for compatibility with their Penta boxes. Regardless, there is no additional functionality included for MTRX there. We are currently working on qualifying a version of DADman for Big Sur, but simply wanted to mention that anecdotally I haven't seen any serious issues for customers who had to go there. As always, if you don't need to be on Big Sur, don't go yet.
