Default is "Back and Play" command possible w/Transport

On the ICON's there are "Back" & "Back and Play" dedicated knobs.
Is there a way to program Artis Transport with a soft key to work the same way?

thanx a lot

Since PT 10, "back and play" has been added as a eucon command. So if you have PT 10, Yes.

Thanx The Golfer,

I still don't have artist, so I would assume that you could program this function to any key? Or only on some keys?
I thought I read somewhere that "Previeuw" commands are also programmable, is that right information too? (on Artist Transport that is)

Yes, PT 10 added over 500 eucon commands. Those include all automation features such as "preview". I don't have an Artist Transport but I use the MC Pro. Both uses the same eucon commands that are assignable to soft keys.

From Avid website/ Artist Transport features:

Quote:
Transport keys can be reassigned within each application. See Chapter 4, “Soft Keys” to learn how to program them.
also:

Quote:
when you use the Shift key together with any of these six Soft Keys (as well as the transport and numeric keys), you gain another 29 Soft Keys that you can program to gain fast access to your most frequently used functions.
From the manual it all looks good but maybe someone with the actual Artist Transport could confirm...

Hope that help!
