Default 2018.10 Import session Data crashing now

I do Import Session Data on a daily basis, and suddenly yesterday it started crashing every single time no matter where I imported from and no matter what I imported. Of course have restarted many times, hard drive is not full, tried importing data that worked previously, which now crashes PT. OS and PT software versions have not changed.
Importing session data with only "Clips&Media, Clip Gain, & Track Active State" selected.
Crashes every time now when "Overlay new on existing Playlist" is selected, but works when "Replace existing playlist" is selected.

Please help, I rely on this function everyday.

Mac OS 10.13.6
PT 2018.10
iMac 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
6 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Trash prefs? Otherwise I'd be straight back to 2018.7.

Thanks , I unfortunately tried trashing prefs with no luck. Rolling back to 2018.7 might be worth a try, I've been using 2018.10 since it came out with no problems until yesterday.
I'm actually not sure how to roll back to 2018.7?

Uninstall PT, restart, install 2018.7, restart, pray.

Try importing smaller chunks - say 20 tracks. You might have corrupt media on one of the importing tracks. Try 1 track, then 10, etc. Good luck.
