Default Pro Tools 9, Adat and RME Fireface

Hello all - i would like to be able to have an ADAT sync to Pro tools, and do not know where to start.

Do i need a piece of equipment to convert time code to ADAT sync? Is this possible?

Any guidance would be very much appreciated.

My setup :
Macbook Pro
OSX 10.6.
RME fireface 800.
Pro Tools 9

Thanks
-dan
