Default anybody got a LE 6.0 disc laying around?

rather than trashing the DAE preferences folder, i accidentally deleted the DAE file. unfortunately i emptied my trash and now whenever i try to load pro tools i get the "DAE could not be found" error...i need to export some old sessions, and i have no way to access them now...my install disc and auth key have long been misplaced so re-installing from the install disc, or downloading from digidesign is not an option,as i never registered my 6.0 software...i realize what i'm requesting is ancient, but if someone could just upload the DAE file for LE 6.0, i would be ever so grateful...

thanks!

Once you get a disk, go out and buy Super Duper!!!!! I can't recommend it enough. It will clone youur system drive on a partitioned external HD, which I assume you must have as you should NOT be recording to your system drive even if it works. "SD" only costs about $30 and it will clone the system drive, and do smart backups, which means that after several hours of using pro tools, you can have it back up the system drive to the clone, withought ever rewriting any of the original information, hence, it doesn't copy the same thongs (or shall I say replace) over and over again. You can even set it to go on a 4 AM, if you leave your system on, that is. I would but that's another story here. Good luck getting the disc. I will hunt around but I don't see what good it would do you as it will need Auth codes. If that is the casem, just go out and but a used version from somebody and have that all kosher.

Scott,
I don't know if you still need it or not...but I have the PT 6.2.3 disk for Mac 10.3.2 here. Let me know how I can get the DAE file to you if you need it.

Nice to hear that you got taken care of by my friends at Digi. I know many people who work there and they are all really good people. I've personally not known one person who is not cool. I see people on the DUC saying tons of bad things about Digi and that's too bad. Maybe many of them have real beefs with these people but I have always received great help from them when I've needed it.

Glad to have tried to help. Sorry I couldn't come through for you but you seem to have taken care of it. Congratulations.
