Eucon and hui controllers all together

Anybody knows if a "old" hui type control surface like a control 24 or procontrol can run in parallel with a eucon type controller (like artist series) in protools hd10 (not 11 I know).
My aim is to run an old control 24 with an avid transport to add eucon shortcuts such as preview, write to selection...

Are control24 and procontrol really HUI?
I use Yamahaconsoles in HUI mode together with eucon, works good except for some of the eucon bugs.

Actually no, you are right. I made a mistake. My question concerns digi older Ethernet controller and eucon. Anyone has managed to make them work together ?

I dont think that it will work. When you click the ethernet checkbox to connect an Icon surface it says that it does not work together with eucon if you have eucon checked, I guess its the same with other ethernet surfaces.

I use an Artist Control together with V-Control (hui), but you lose the metering on the hui. I'm guessing that's because hui only supports stereo channel meters whereas Eucon supports multichannel. The same applies to diginet so I'm guessing that's why it won't play nice with Eucon, as well as other things.
