Default Snow Leopard and Plug-ins

I started a thread a month or more ago about which plug-ins are compatible with PT 8.0.3 and Snow Leopard. People responded, and Digi said they'd soon provide a compatibility chart.

Nothing's ever been posted by Digi, as far as I'm able to tell.

Rather than waiting for Digi, perhaps everyone could use this thread to contribute their findings regarding which plugs are compatible and which aren't. I'm hesitating on the upgrade until I know that most of my plugs are usable, but have so many that it would take a very long time to conduct all of the research independently.

And that's why we have this Users Group, right?!

I've not found anything major regarding TDM compatibility, everything seems to be at least as smooth as ever. Apparently there is no need for 10.6 compatibility, if the plugin is already working perfectly. Plugs aint broken, so they're not fixed.

This is what I'm using and what seems to be compatible:

- Abbey Road Plugins (everything)
- Brainworx bx_digital V2
- Digidesign Impact
- Digidesign ReVibe
- Digidesign Smack!
- Eventide Anthology II
- Eventide 2016 Reverb
- Focusrite Forte Suite
- Massey Plugins (everything)
- Serato Rane Dynamics
- Serato Rane Equalizers
- Sonic NoNoise
- Sonnox Dynamics
- Sonnox EQ
- Sonnox Inflator
- Sonnox Limiter
- Sonnox Reverb
- Sonnox TransMod
- SPL Vitalizer
- TC DVR2 Reverb
- TC MD3 Dynamics
- TC NonLin2 Reverb
- TC VSS3 Reverb
- Waves V7 CLA Classics
- Waves V7 Dorrough Meters
- Waves V7 Hybrid Compressor+Delay
- Waves V7 Studio Classics

Virtual instruments and RTAS generally is something I don't use and cannot comment on.

What about Amp Farm and Echo Farm? Are they still working in 10.6? They work in 8.0.3 / 10.5.8....

McDSP CB and S1 (can't say about other McDSP stuff)
DSM
Access Virus (only the 7.4.2 installer seems to be free of bug)
U-He Zebra 2.5
LinPlug Alpha
Arturia Vintage Collection
Prop Reason 4.0.1
Spectrasonics Stylus RMX (they are putting out one update per week)
FXpansion BFD2
NI Battery 3, Absynth 5 and FM8 (can't say about the others)
Ultra Analog VA 1

I'm having trouble with Hybrid that doesn't work

Just after the SL upgrading I've installed the full 1.5.2 then the 1.5.3 update (SL only).
It worked and loaded the patch saved with the session. When I tried to search for other patches I've seen that the patches window was empty and I've seen that the folder that Hybrid installed into the plugin folder no longer exist. Therefore I tried to reinstall Hybrid (by removing the plugin and the pref first). The 1.5.2 installer told me that a newer version was already installed and didn't allow me to proceed for the inst. The 1.5.3 told me that a full version has to be installed before. Now I am unable to reinstall any Hybrid installer.
BTW there are other users like me here
http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=261982

I also tried to see in the receipts folder as Digi suggested but it was empty
I hope that Digi will fix this

Hi,

Have you done all that DS suggested?...

Try deleting any of these files that are on your system:

Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-ins/
Hybrid.dpm
Hybrid (folder)

Macintosh HD/Library/Receipts/
Any version of Hybrid that is there

Then install Hybrid 1.5.2 from the Hybrid product section, then the 1.5.3 udpate:

Sure, already did all these things.
It seems that there are other files around that don't allow to reinstall the 1.5.2. And w/o the 1.5.2 installed the 1.5.3 installer doesn't work
The only thing that I didn't try yet is to search hidden files with thinker tool.

I made the switch last week and have had hundreds of PI's work very well. Hybrid gave me grief. The sounds presets were never installed. Solution was to copy them from my old plug in presets folder that i had on my Leopard Drive...

Now, I have the same type of problem with Transfuser.... No content....
