Download Problems with Waves 3.5

Has anyone else had problems downloading 3.5? It downloads, then shows an ERROR. The .sit icon has the error triangle on it. If you dbl click on it, it relaunches EXPLORER and then just sits there with the ball spiining, nothing happens.

I tried it 3 times with same results everytime

Any ideas???

I could only download w/ Netscape. IE choked as you said.

I'm trying to download 3.2 or 3.5 with Netscape now--no luck in either case. I think their site is problematic right now...

If Waves is listening, please let us know when it's good again!

I went to another Mac on our network that had Netscape last night. I downloaded it then copied it to our 9600 PT machine and installed it and it worked fine..

When I did the download, I noticed that the speed was extremely slow. I'm almost positive that it was on their end but it took me an hour to download 10Mb and I have a cable modem. 10Mb ususally downloads in under a minute. The 5.3.1 updater (60Mb) downloaded in 5 minutes.
My guess is that their server is getting hit really hard right now.

i used explorer and my new AT&T broadband cable web connection and it downloaded without a hitch

more trouble after fire wire transfer to my G4 getting the selection/lopen options for the waves plugs folder to take cuz i don't do it all the time

but now i have to purchase a usb floppy drive to install the authorizer..that is silly they won't just give us some way to get in on the new G4s [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]
