Default Importing pro tools tracks from a dvd

Hi,

I need some help. I have a ProTools session with multiple tracks on a DVD. I’m trying to import them to a new session on my Mac Pro but when I import the tracks they all lineup at the beginning of the track window. Basically starting all on the left side of the session. So they are not lined up correctly. Can anyone help me with importing them so they line up as intended?

Thank you very much

Don’t import the audio files. Use import session data and select the tracks you want. This will import the tracks from the session including their location and any plugins, sends etc. associated with those channels.

Have you tried to drag-drop them from the clip bin onto a track while in spot mode?

Right. I thought they were just audio files.
Import session data is the way to go.
But copy everything to your HD first anyway, that DVD might break any second.
