Just wondering which laptop to buy and would like to hear from anyone using Mac configurations with Mbox and a 600MHz Apple iBook G3 laptop.

This is my setup and it works just great:
iBook Dual USB 600 Mhz, 640 Mb RAM Mac OSX 10.3.3 ProTools LE 6.4 Mbox External FireWire Drive, but I usually record to the internal hard drive. Don't expect low latency or too many plugins. But I've recorded and mixed a couple of commercially released albums with this gear (spending a few extra bucks on pro mastering...) Good Luck Niljam |
