ToolBox/8500
Anyone running ToolBox on an 8500? Anyone using a g3 upgrade card sucessfully?
With what system? I have an opportunity to get one of these machines and I'd like to know how well they perform...any help appreciated, thanks!

Hi.
I'm running an AMIII toolbox PT4.3.2 on a PPC 8500, 128mb RAM, 400mHz XLR8 G3. No major hangups. A minor video glitch arises occasionally due to a minor incompatibility between the XLR8 card and Apple's built-in video subsystem. Again, not a showstopper and not an issue if you plan to use a PCI video card. The Newertech G3 cards are said to be quite solid, although they are among the most expensive. E.D.
