Elastic Audio X-Form limited
If you use the elastic Audio X-Form extremely it is a bit buggy. For example if you drag the region slightly into the red, it will calculate that length. But at one point it will not calculate the length you selected. Fine, it can only process a certain multiple. BUT, if you extend your selection more than X-Form can calculate, your warp marker sits at the wrong position after the calculation.
For example we have somebody say "Take this here". You set your warp point before and after "Take". Extend the word Take extremely. "Take" will be extended, but your right warp point will be behind "this" now (for example), although this has not been processed. If you want to process "this" now, and set a warp point before this, X-Form starts calculating again, although it shouldn't. What gets me is, you can go a certain amount into red, and X-Form will still process your chosen length. Digi, please add another colour, at the point where X-Form can't calculate further. Thanks, Timothy |
