Ugraded system now PT 5.3.1 (digi001)will not play

I have had this original system for about 8 yrs now.
With all my plug-ins it was just not enugh for the P4 proceser + 2Gb ram.
Now, I have upgraded to a "new" system with an MSI mother board, i5 Intel proseser, 4GB ram but still running XP pro with SP3. and 2 seperate TB of storage (1tb for sys and 1tb recording)
I have move the Digi card in differant PCI slots and returning back to the loest numbered place, Uninstalled and re-installed PT a couple of time to make sure...Loads every time no complants and fast.
But...When I press play(space bar) arrow lights up nothing happens meter does not change any numbers and can press stop(space bar) and still responds and blue sqaure lights up.

I want to upgrade but I really need to finish this album first.

I suspect that you need to upgrade to 6.4 cs9 and the 6.4cs6 Plugin updater.

Depending on your i5 chipset it may not support natively. What effect that would have on a very old PCI card like the 001 I can't say.

I have a 001 running on a simple Core 2 Duo and its fine with XP SP3.

Your computer may to new. Your version of Pro Tools is definitely too old.

Also update the PACE drivers to the current version. You should also have Quicktime installed

But, I did have a problem loading untill I updated my ILok/PACE.
Now I can load PT properly.
I also Updated my QuickTime to 7.
But, Still Loads with no problem but does not play.

Could it be somthing to so with Timeing?
