Default M-Audio Profire Lightbridge

Is there any secret to getting the MAudio Profire Lightbrige Analog outs to work in PT9?

I've checked and unchecked the 'mirror' Spdif to Analog outs to no avail. I've done the driver install EXACTLY in the order they specify. Uninstalled and tried again. NO luck. I can't get PT9 standard to pass audio to the analog outs or the headphones which I assume is the same as analog outs. Anybody regularly using this piece with PT9 that could help me?

Thanks,
Grant

Well unless you mean to imply that on page 83 of the PT9 manual (the Profire manual doesn't have that many pages) I'm gonna find a way to 'remap' channels.. then the answer is that I have to again, just like with my MOTU system, DEFEAT certain input/output paths in the hardware's app. My problem was that I had all 4 ADAT banks enabled and the SPDIF and Analog outputs are at holes # 33-36 which OF COURSE -- aren't available in PT9 Standard!!!!

Does anyone else find it ironic that in Avid's LESSER software, M-Powered 7 and 8 ALL 34 ins and 36 outs of a ProFire LightBridge were AVAILABLE!!!!!!!! In that way -- MPowered was a 'superior' piece of sofware than to even LE -- and now it reminds me of why Avid had to create their 'own' software for the M-Audio products which were BIG on LOTS of IO. If I open PT Mpowered 8.0.4 right now and plug in my Lightbridge I have '34 ins' and '36 outs' available to me. But NOT in the software that REPLACED Mpowered 7/8.. Isn't that somehow - just WRONG!!??

PT9 only supports 32 inputs and 32 outputs

PT M-Powered 7 and 8 did not support any more than 18 I/O. And no offense, but other than Machine Control, Ethernet Controllers, and The DV toolkit option, there really was no difference with M-Powered/LE. I have both as well as 9. I don't about the Lightbridge, but with my 2626 I always just routed the spdif and optical b last because PT sees the first 18 regardless of what they are. In PT 9 it sees the first 32, anything after is ignored. (should be.) So if you route the outputs you don't need to the end in the control panel, the ones you do need should be all available.
