Playback Engine - ProTools and Mackie 1640i
Hi
New user here. I have been running the most recent version of Protools - interface is via Firewire/Mackie 1640I. I had a pro install the software and make connections, etc. All worked fine. Recently had to take the computer out of the system for a repair. When I reconnected - I had no playback capability. Checked cords, firewire, etc... all seem fine. When I go into playback engine in ProTools, it does NOT "see" the 1640i any longer (I do recall that it did before). What do I need to do to correct this?? Thanks! |

And maybe re-install the driver for the Mackie. Saving images of your system drive(when things work well) will save you lots of struggling in the future
