https://goyo.app/ For those not aware Goyo is currently in open beta and you can get a heavily discounted license ($29 vs $99) if you register before the 1st October. I've got nothing to do with the company, btw.

What CEDAR does, it does very well -- I would say, hesitantly, better than anything out there.
Though, admittedly, very pricey. And not everything needs that level of results. I'm very happy with the results I get from all my restoration software, but I do miss having a personal CEDAR Cambridge (owned by prior employers) and there are times I'm highly aware I could fix something on that I can't with other tools today. A major post house won't blink at the price of this plugin. Even saving the cost of one ADR session would more than pay for this. (I am not in the market for this plugin either!)

I had a chance to play with it at the IBC in Amsterdam.
It's pretty amassing. From the other hand I've just bought dxRevive Pro and it's amassing too. I also have Extract DX from Acon and it's great too. Acon will soon release its AI based DX magic tool and it will be amassing and may be even better from anyone else too... My point is that we quietly stepped into an AI based noise reduction new era. My feeling is that Cedar VoiceEX and dxRevibe Pro has pretty much the same AI engine under the hood. I expect that Acon will be out with a new tool which will give us probably more control from either of above plugins. It could be tuned to remove noise from dx even better. But will it be a different algorithm? I don't know. But different design - yes. ![]()

The annoying thing is sometimes one is better at removing a particular type of noise than another, or at least that's what I've found. Meaning for the best results you need to own them all.
![]() They may well all be based on the same underlying engine with individual tweaks. I know some of it is public domain, or at least that's what it said in an article I read. These are exciting times and I really look forward to what tools AI will bring to us next! I didn't know Acon were working on one too I'm sure they'll pull something out of the bag. Their stuff is great! Izotope have really dropped the ball in this area. Amazing how they've gone from industry leader to chasing everyone else in such a short time, sad. Back to Cedar VoicEX. I found its generally great. I don't think it's £650.00 greater than Dx Revive Pro. It could remove some noise better, but so could DX Revive. Tough one.
