I recently upgrated my pc to intel core 2 qaud with 3 g ram, 520 hd. i also reinstalled a new windows XP. i tried reinstalling Pro tools LE 6.8.1 wth mbox 2 asio/ wave drivers. At about 36% during istalling a message "component transfer error" with this message:
Component:Program files file Group:PT folder icon file: <iconpath>\ Error: the filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. Ive been looking all over and no one seems to have an answer. I dont have the money for a new interface, nor have the money for the 3 dollar a minute service call. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!!!!.....PLEASE!!!... Thanks alot!! |

You would probably need to upgrade to 7.x since 6.x is not supported.
