Confused about plug-in compatibility PT8
So like many others I have some now "not compatible plugins"..... most of Komplete (4 in my case), Reason 3, Drumcore, and Korg Digital Legacy package........ I am currently running a G5 with 10.5.5 and PT8.....
Just to see what would happen I used the Korg one in a new session (only one track) and nothing weird happened. All worked fine. I now read about people using Reason. The guide (and the Reason website) actually says nothing about compatible or not for this -- I took that to mean not compatible. I also read that people are using Kontakt. I was thinking about just selling my NI stuff because according to the guides and posts I see this is just awful with PT. Now I usually only use these things lightly and have never really had a problem. Do things only fall apart when the system is more loaded? Or only when a certain "good" plug is mixed with a certain "not compatible" one? Just some thoughts........... -Lee

Re: Confused about plug-in compatibility PT8
What version are your korg rtas plug ins? Mine don't show up in the list, but they're in the plug-ins folder.

The other thing is to try putting the .dpm at the end of the Korg plug, this usually invokes it to work Chris

Re: Confused about plug-in compatibility PT8
The Plug-Ins list of Digi says, the KLDE is not compatible with 7.4.2-8.0 on a Mac. I've just send a mail to Korg Germany with version details of the installed plugs.
