Default Hardware insert latency??? What...?

Ya so, I'm mixing this song using a hardware comp on my vox bus and after bouncing, I'm listening and maybe I heard this song to many times but I have the impression the vocals are late. Buffer is at 1024, maxed out on plugs...
Is this it? Insert latency? The signal leaves the interface, goes to the comp then comes back delayed?
The thing is I dont hear in this in playback, only after bouncing... Weird.
Care to comment?
Thanks in advance

LoZion

Yes, the buffer size is doing it. Maybe you can print the vox down, and nudge them back.

Hey, thanks for the reply.
The funny thing like I mentionned is that you only notice it after bounce and not during playback. I wonder if its a bounce handler problem. Well, I decided to insert my tube comp on the mix and use a fairchild plug (I was doing the opposite) on the vox bus and that of course took care of the latency since the whole mix is delayed equally.
You're right I could've printed the vox and move them up but enuff with this song for tonite, my hears are full...
Plus, the added upper harmonics of the tube comp are nice on the whole mix and not just the vocals...
later,
