Default Exported WAV files - wrong header?

I've had the Digi001 for a while now, and have been using Easy CD Creator to burn exported stereo files onto CD with no problem.

On upgrading my CD burner and switching to Nero v5 to burn CDs, Nero said it could not read the exported WAV files. Exporting stereo AIFF files works fine however.

When a friend took a look at the WAV files, he said that they did not have the correct header, and thus did not conform to the 'WAV' standard. It seems that Easy CD creator is just more lenient about the integrity of the files it uses.

Is this a known problem?
