Recording to Dat through lightpipe?
I am not able to get my Sony Dat to recognize the optical output from the Digi card. Has anyone come across this problem? The s/pdif works fine, but when I switch it to optical mode the Dat refuses to go into record.

Re: Recording to Dat through lightpipe?
To perform Optical transfers from Pro Tools into any 2-channel optical digital device:
-Setups>Playback Engine>Other Options: Optical Mode=S/PDIF -Setups>Hardware: Digital Sync mode=Internal -Sync mode on remote device must be set to External or Digital -Rec-enable the DAT -Play the session (you should see activity on the meters of the DAT). Brent |
